Some industry partnerships just click right from the start, and our work with Austrian machine builder Fill is a perfect example of this. Fill started back in 1966 as a small locksmith shop and has since grown into a massive global player in special machine engineering, building systems for the automotive, aerospace and woodworking industries as well as many others. What really stands out to us when visiting them is their incredible depth of manufacturing. Walking through their ultra-modern production halls, you can practically see the future being built. That uncompromising demand for quality is exactly where our lighting comes in.
When dealing with highly automated machinery, clear visual signals are essential. In a harsh production environment, an operator must be able to recognise a machine’s status instantly. That is why we provide industrial lighting that is not only incredibly reliable, but also integrates seamlessly into the specific design of each machine.
For Fill’s machines, we mainly supply signal lights. This involves using our Bardolino Hoch and Bardolino T profiles, which we finish with a special partial encapsulation to ensure they are fully protected in tough industrial environments. However since Fill specialises in custom machine construction, we are constantly faced with new challenges that we work together on. For special projects, we develop floor-mounted lighting lines, provide direct workstation lighting for the machines or use our fully encapsulated AQUALUC X series in particularly demanding environmental conditions.
